Mansa Devi Temple

About 8 km from Chandigarh bus stop lies the shrine of Mata Mansa Devi. There is a belief about this place that the head of Devi Sati had fallen here and the place is the seat of strength. During Navratras (in the month of Chaitra) people from all over the country visit this sacred place to get the blessings of Goddess Mansa Devi. Chandi Mandir lies some 10 km from this temple popularly called as Siddh Peeth a place where are granted.


Saketri Temple

This ancient temple of Lord Shiva is only 20km from the city. On the day of Shivratri there is large crowd of people to get the blessings of Lord Shiva.

Gurdwara Nada Sahib

The famous Gurudwara is situated at a distance of 15 km from Chandigarh. The place has some historical facts. Nadu Shah a follower of Guru Gobind Sing used to live at this place. When the Guru returned after glorious victory on Mughals, this very man welcomed him and the place was named as Nada Sahib. Thousands of devotees from all over India and abroad come here to fulfill their wishes with great faith.
